Life's Many Colours
We are all colourful in each and every
way,
Swirling whirls of indigo, blue,yellow
and grey.
Glowing fields of golden corn,
Embroidered in a beautiful knit-
together tapestry,
What a sight to see!
A beautiful vessel ploughing through
the ocean blue,
One hope pinned on the horizon,
The vessel wrecked,
All hope lost,
Colours washing down the page,
Tears blurring the picture,
The sky red with the blood of men,
I would cry to see again.
I see rainbow colours painted in a
waterfall,
A stream of living water,
An oasis in a dense forest,
There is hope yet for us all.
Playing cards in the game of life,
In a dark and dingy room,
The light shines

he history of painting begins with watercolor as it is the oldest painting medium. Ground pigments have been unearthed in Africa dating as far back as 60,000 B.C., a
I am a teenage girl who suffers from an over-active imagination and daydreams constantly.
I have loved Art and creative writing as long as I can remember; when I was little I was forever making 'books' out of stapled together paper,5-page efforts with scrawled illustrations. Over the years I have also collected many notebooks brimming full of doodles and story ideas. I currently study GCSE art and love doing realistic drawings in many medias, especially portraits.
I love fantasy and have read many fantasy books-starting out on the Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis and moving on to titles such as the Harry Potter series. I have always quite fancied my own broomstick or wardrobe that was a portal to another world! However the best fantasy books I have ever read(and I have read a lot-they don't call me a bookworm for nothing)have to be the Eragon series by Christopher Paolini. These authors have inspired me to achieve my ambition to write an illustrated novel one day.
I hope you enjoy looking at my work and happy browsing!

Well, it's fair to say that I haven't been on here in a while. Busy, busy , busy as always! But a good kind of busy. Am finally settling back into school mode again after a great Christmas break.I think it was getting to the stage in the school term where we all needed a break, and the holidays were well-deserved! We all had lots of mock exams before Christmas, and are now greeted by even more!
However I am being careful not to work too hard;I am making the most of being back with my friends . We went on a school trip yesterday to the Tate modern in London. I wasn't so sure about most of the modern art. Most of the time I was raising my eyeb
Hello there fellow deviant artists-guess what-IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!:excited:
I can't believe Christmas is almost here, just shows that I haven't been on here in weeks! I have my end of term mock GCSEs to thank for that. Never was I so glad to stand up after a 2 hour English exam! But now Christmas is here and I can finally relax and enjoy my holiday while it lasts. I don't know about you guys but I just love Christmas. It is all about light in the dark, cold, winter. When it's dark and cold outside, you and your family can huddle around the fire and enjoy the beautiful lights of the Christmas tree :happycry:

Gotta be a quick one as children in need in on in 5 minutes!
Sorry I haven't been on deviant art for a while, busy bee as always! The highlight of my week has definitely been our bake sale at school. Our school initially wasn't doing anything so a group of us stepped in and asked if we could have a bake sale. Last night some friends and myself baked over 100 cakes for children in need. That's some baking -but it was great fun! In the end all our hard work paid off-we sold all our cakes and raised over £100!I am really proud of our efforts and can't wait to do another bake sale for the next event!:)
